Dr. Tony Tyndall, Chiropractor

Tony is an extremely talented and passionate chiropractor who has been in practice for more than thirty years. He is extremely proficient in gentle and effective manual techniques and instrument adjustment styles. He knows how to accurately assess what your body needs, execute the treatment and is quick to refer to the best people in other health care fields if you need it. Tony has owned and operated Greenlane Chiropractic for more than twenty years and cares greatly about looking after the spinal health of the Greenlane community.

Tony initially completed his Chiropractic qualification in Melbourne, Australia at the then Phillip Institute of Technology (now RMIT University), graduating in 1985. Tony then returned to Auckland to practice at Remuera Chiropractic on Remuera Road, Auckland with the late Torsten Braun. He practiced for 17 years at Remuera Chiropractic before deciding to open his own practice in 2002. Tony chose our current location on Great South Road, Greenlane for its convenient central location and proximity to the motorway. He also noted the increasing need of his patients for convenient off-street parking, a key feature of the clinic location.

Outside of the clinic Tony is an absolute gun on the tennis court, is passionate about sailing and loves spending a long weekend on his motorbike enjoying the stunning open roads of the Waikato. He welcomes you to the practice and encourages all patients to see any one of the clinicians.

Dr. Cameron Snelling, Chiropractor

With a keen passion for science and biology Cameron began his tertiary study in 1995 at Massey University in Palmerston North, he graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology. After being introduced to the Philosophy, Science and Art of Chiropractic he decide to further his study in human anatomy and physiology and enrolled in the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.

Cam worked with Tony at Greenlane Chiropractic for eight years following his graduation before starting up his own clinic. Twelve years later Cam returned to the Greenlane Chiropractic clinic in 2023 with his wife Antonia and long-time associate Himi to help boost it into the next exciting chapter looking after the backs and necks of the Greenlane Community. He also worked as a clinical supervisor at the NZ College of Chiropractic for ~5 years.

Cameron loves chiropractic, and the skills he has learnt with a whole range of both manual and instrument adjusting methods have helped thousands of people from babies to the elderly achieve a higher level of function in health, wellness and performance. He is constantly amazed at the body’s infinite ability to heal itself given the proper conditions and respects it’s innate ability to strive for healthy function.

On a personal level Cameron is a keen snowboarder, kite surfer, mountain biker and martial artist. Cameron is currently holding a 4th degree black belt in ITF Tae Kwon Do and has 2nd degree black belt in Classical Aikido.

Dr. Farzad Nikanjam, Chiropractor

After completing his Chiropractic degree from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2003 he went into practice in Ellerslie, Auckland. After working for three years in Ellerslie, treating such notable people as several members of the New Zealand Warriors NRL team, Dr Farzad joined the team here at Greenlane Chiropractic. Dr Farzad has been with us since 2006 and enjoys treating all manner of patients. He currently completes two half days a week off-site performing corporate Chiropractic care for a local business.

Outside of clinic Farzard is a loving husband to wife Julia and proud father of their two handsome young boys. He is often spotted actively participating in their school activities whether it is manning the barbecue at the local fair or herding children onto a school bus for local outings. Farzard also enjoys being fit and healthy and has had great success in a recent foray into the world of CrossFit.

Dr. Antonia Daroux Snelling, Chiropractor

A childhood immersed in competitive gymnastics sparked Antonia’s keen interest in the ability of the human body to perform and recover. She pursued this with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Auckland. Whilst passionately working as a personal trainer and CrossFit Coach in Auckland she continued her education with a Bachelor of Chiropractic at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.
In practice she has greatly enjoyed continuing to learn about the limits and abilities of the human body to heal, recover and perform against all odds. With her wealth of high performance sport experience, Antonia has great passion for helping athletes to perform at their best. She also loves helping mum’s to be comfortable during and after pregnancy, and looking after babies and children as their bodies face the challenges that are part of growing into adulthood. After many successful years in practice she was extremely excited at the opportunity to move with husband Cameron to Greenlane Chiropractic in 2023 to boost it into a new exciting chapter.
Outside of practice you would find Antonia sweating it out at CrossFit, snickering at her meme collections or pottering away happily in the kitchen or garden.

Himi Horikoshi, Acupuncturist

Himi has practised acupuncture in harmony with Cameron and Antonia for over ten years. She is trained in shiatsu massage and acupuncture for three years in Japan. These techniques are part of the traditional Chinese medicine view of the body, where health is maintained by relaxing the muscles and balancing energy, stimulating or relaxing the function of the organs. Shiatsu literally means “finger pressure”, although she tends to use her whole hand. She does not distinguish between shiatsu and acupuncture, using the needles whenever she feels there is a particular need. She understands that not everyone is comfortable with acupuncture, and will only use it when she has your trust and confidence. Himi uses a very fine needle, medically sterilised and disposable. There is no pain or risk of infection.
Himi’s style of massage is done fully clothed. She recommends you wear loose, comfortable clothing to her sessions. She aims for her treatments to provide long term relief. Many of her clients say that they get up from the massage table feeling not much different, but they feel fantastic the next day. Massage is like exercise, so she recommends you have a drink of water afterwards, and if you can, to not eat immediately before or after.

Irene Kingsford, Practice Manager

Irene has been practice manager at Greenlane Chiropractic with Tony since it’s inception more than twenty years ago. She is extremely passionate about providing the most safe space and easy access to chiropractic care for every patient that steps through the doors at Greenlane Chiropractic. Irene is extremely proficient at running a tight ship at the front desk and knows most of our patients details and history like the back of her own hand. Outside of the clinic Irene has been married to her husband Rex for more than fifty years and is an extremely busy grandmother to eleven lovely grandchildren.
